    Program of the First Network-Wide Training Event

    We are excited to announce our first network-wide training event for doctoral candidates, which will coincide with our second supervisory board meeting and mid-term check-up with our Program Officer. The training will feature seminars on cutting-edge AMR research topics led by our supervisors, associated partners, and invited speakers, along with a comprehensive grant-writing workshop.

    Our host in Portugal, beneficiary GIMM, is ensuring we have an exceptional gathering planned for May 2026.

    First Supervisory Board Meeting

    We had the first Supervisory Board meeting of the ENDAMR doctoral network at EMBL Heidelberg. Supervisors discussed the network structure and function, decided on future events, explored public engagement plans with EMBL’s Science Education and Public Engagement officers, and visited key Core Facilities. They also received tailored training on Leadership by our Associated Partner Sonja Noss. And of course, we discussed at length about all the exciting science that is coming.

    Launch of ENDAMR

    We are pleased to announce that the ENDAMR Doctoral Network has officially started on 1 January 2025.

    From 2025 to 2028, this doctoral network aims to address the urgent global challenge of antibiotic resistance through cutting-edge research and innovative approaches. ENDAMR seeks to pave the way for new strategies to combat this pressing public health issue by equipping the next generation of researchers with essential skills and knowledge.
